Re: Just got my 3.892 back from Valentine!

Yeah, I have the GMG exhaust, GMG springs [true progressive], 20x9 VMR 710 wheels, e-code headlights, e-code LED tail lamps, Huper Optik tint, quite a few VAG-COM modifications. Nothing engine wise...

Re: 3.892 Update Completed ... OMG!!

The E tells us it is indeed broke. Granted I have never seen E and did not know if the new version even had it.

  4. Re: Cobra and Escort Radar Detector use in Washington State

    Let the education begin.

POP is a very quick shot of radar normally 67ms or quicker. 99.999% of cops do not use it
Quick trigger, is a very quick instant on shot under 500ms. - Texas loves it,...

Re: Just got my 3.892 back from Valentine!

So I'm not the only one who's teeth on top are knicked up...I sort of assumed that though. It drives me nuts that the mount does that, that's what I like about the button mount on Escorts, it doesn't...

Re: Just got my 3.892 back from Valentine!

My v1 used the same case, the corner is still chipped from where I dropped it (barely noticeable) and the *teeth* on top of it are still worn (the paint that is. or whatever they throw on it).

Re: Well, another new Darkside member...

    Re: neewbie question

POP is 99.9 percent not used in the US, the T feature you speak of, slows down K band so it *misses* the speedinfo K band shots. It also causes it to miss all K band with in that ms range.

Re: Just got my 3.892 back from Valentine!

Ghosting occurs when the source is a X,K, or Ka, band signal and the detector shows it as a different signal, or multiple signals. An example, if I hold my bushnel extremely close to the V1, it will...

    Re: Valentine 1 and Spectra

Hmm, I feel if your in direct compeition with the V1 you need arrows and a bogey counter.

Now, to the question. I don't "believe" they're. Not that I would know.

Re: V1 been cooking something up!

This is like saying a steak knife cuts butter better than a butter knife. The plus is not a window mount. What we need is a sti remote vs v1 window. So from what you have observed, the STIR+...

Am I reading this right? You was running two V1's in the same car?
  19. Re: New V1 user questions regarding poor Ka and K sensitivity

Could be something wrong, or it could be a tough encounter, or it could of been instant on which turned into constant on. You will need to do further testing for us to know.
