    Re: Check receiver wiring warning?

Thanks Matt. Are you referring to the RJ phone connectors going into the central connection hub? Was there a fix that someone came up with? I jiggled the wire all around (each of them), but still...

    Re: Check receiver wiring warning?

Is this warning related to the GPS receiver? I just started getting this after about five months of perfect performance. Just trying to figure out where to start. :dontknow: All my wires are routed...

    Re: 9500ci latest firmware (v1.5)

I am having a similar issue with my 9500ci. The new update seems to have extended acquisition time to up to 5 minutes! This is a fairly new unit that was working flawlessly before this latest...

Nothing worked UNTIL I moved the Escort Tools file out of my Programs file to my Documents file. Then wolah! EVERYTHING worked smoothly! ...

    Re: 9500ci update error

Thanks all. I think it's probably the 64 bit version of Windows 7 that's lousing everything up. Unfortunately (or fortunately) that's what I've got for an OS on the new laptop! We'll see what...

    Re: 9500ci update error

Since Windows 7 offered to emulate XP to run the file I guess I could do that. It makes me a little nervous that it might ruin the current ci load. . . if it hasn't already! :dontknow:

    Re: 9500ci update error

Thanks Phil! Yeah, it's the 64 bit version. That may be it. Unfortunately I don't know anybody around me that has XP or VISTA on a laptop that I can borrow. And driving the Porsche to the third...

Recently I purchased a new Alienware M11x laptop that is running Windows 7, since my old XP laptop died. On the first software update of the ci (with Detector Tools v.1.5) I got the following error...

    Re: Mixing Jammer Heads

Thanks again! This is all good stuff. You confirmed a lot of what I thought I knew, and filled in a lot of gaps for me. Much appreciated.

My ci just arrived minutes ago via UPS! I plan to...

    Re: Mixing Jammer Heads

Oh, and what are the difficulties of rear laser protection you allude to? Why is that so much harder than the front?

    Re: Mixing Jammer Heads

So, with my new proposal, you don't anticipate any interference between the two systems at each end of the car?

Maybe I'll opt for an M47 package front and rear and leave the ZR4's up front for...

    Re: Mixing Jammer Heads

Thanks so much for the detailed reply! Good info. :)

I'll refrain from putting the REAR ci ZR4 jammer up front. What I will probably do instead is put the Blinder or LI heads up front, and the...
