I went for a quick LA trip last year for the first time with V1. Fine with all default settings.
ok... So I had a trip with some friends. There's this guy in not pos looking old Saturn keep driving on my butt on a one lane road. At this point it's either I let him pass or I speed up and flash...
mmm... I'll have to let the people who drive around your area often to do the talking regarding the best settings. I'm glad that you have a V1 and I know for a fact you can't mess around while you're...
Of course you can speed with any car including a Prius unless you have a ridiculously slow car. I drive a Toyota Matrix (not with the 2ZZ-GE, which is decent) and it's pretty damn slow. Mine is the...
May be it's just me, but I think the enforcement ramp-up began about 2-3 months (for the areas I head to that is)
Can someone send it to me please? That's classic.
I don't hardwire my V1 because I'd like to have the flexibility to move it from one vehicle to another when needed although it can be hardwired.
Now, I'm curious how much difference in mounted...
let's see how will that ringtone work for me (me like! just don't know how to make one exactly like that). The speaker on my Blackberry is busted only when the phone rings
I was just about to ask if someone ever got and laser scatter and you witness someone else get busted.[/QUOTE]
Saw that happen quite a few times.
I'm in CA, so no jammer. However, I'm thought of mounting a jammer head(s) and use them as "receive-only". Not sure if that's pointless though. This is the first laser encounter that can't be saved....
I don't think this is very likely, but is it possible to outbrake laser?
Sadly, I got nailed (again) yesterday. The LEO has got to be the most efficient one I've ever seen (spent minimal time,...
For those of you who live in or travel to Novato in California, be a bit more cautious as it seems like NPD seems to have increased use of laser to tag people. Ka band or laser on Ignacio Blvd.
Has anyone thought of a lane hogger on a road that only has one lane each way is actually worse?
One time I had to follow someone for more than 5 miles. I flashed him too many times that he still...
Funny. I drive that area almost everyday and I don't see them using laser on Golden Gate Bridge.
Although I found this a little late, thanks for the heads up!
The reason why I'm asking is even though there's a place to it, it doesn't look like the place you're supposed to put the windshield mount with the suction cup works. Is it just me?
They're all over the place. A lot of freeway has it.
Am I dreaming or the 3.876 is the latest version? When did you get yours?
Oh wow...
I put mine to the right of the RVM.
I used my V1 for about half a year now. It only stay in one place for the most part, but if you take it out enough times it'll start to not stick unless you give them a wash in soapy water.
The problem is some cars have windshield wipers arranged that the left wiper does not go the same side as the right one, and the wipers won't go to where it needs to wipe.
I have no plans to hardwire it as I sometimes use mine on different vehicles. I can do that to my beater, but the top tint is in the way and I don't want to risk it until my next windshield...
I was going to replace the suction cups as I took the original pair on an off enough times that it doesn't stick very well. It came back to life after cleaning it with some soap and water. The...
