Mine just stop picking up a band completely when they're needing to go in for service. In the last decade this has happened twice, so about every 5 years.

Been a couple of year since I've been on here, and my modded main body is still running strong. It's soooo much easier to tell the bands.

One solution I've found that really works is keep a package of Windex wipes in the car. When the v1 starts to slip, clean the windshield and the suction cups. Problem solved. :cool:
