Default Blinder Installed and ready to Fly :)

I finally got my blidner M-20 installed today and it looks really good. Below are some pictures of it. I had it professionally installed through Roy's Installer card and they did a good job. I recomend this to anyone looking to get professional installation on their laser jammer or radar detector.

I say the next tthing you do is to do somthing with that wire hanging down from your detector

Yeah, do a nice direct-wire install with the X50 above the mirror. Laser is a nonissue with the blinder installed, so you could easily stick the X50 behind your tint strip and have it nicely hidden.

I tried putting my detector above my rearview mirror and the mounting bracket doesnt' allow it. I am also looking into doing a direct wire, but one thing at a time. I just dropped almost 500 on the blinder, a can a VEIL and the laser plate cover.

Also, I thought that mounting it behind the tinting cut down on the reception? Maybe i'm wrong, I dunno.

Lastly, I have to keep the plate holder on there because my state requires front plates. I just baught the car though, so i'm waiting for them to come in.

    leepoffaith,
Personally I would loose it. Front plates/brackets are ugly and ruin a vehicles looks plus you get the laser edge.
Ca requires a front plate also but it really takes a bored cop to give you a ticket. (just a fix it anyway)
I have been pulled over for other things in the past and they almost never catch it or say anything.
Watch out for the rear license plate light burnout though as that's a bigger red flag for a pull over.
