Default How NOT to do the LI install

This is in the process of being corrected but here is how my LI install was setup originally (mechanic installed). The driver's side head is backwards and the sensors are too low...

Technically not backwards, just receiver is in. You easily flip it. As for sensors too low, they might not be the LI is very powerful and still might get JTG down there. You might be able to get them in the grill, but might have to modify it.

Do you have a pic of where the switch is?

No, I'll have to take a picture of the switch and post it. It is concealed very well just below the driver's side air vent.

You really think I could still JTG with the heads so low? Maybe if I put the plate holder back on so they have a target that is closer to the sensors than the headlights? I've seen laser usage a lot here over the years and it seems like they get you at closer ranges IE. closer than 1000 feet.

The LI's are pretty good and the plate will be the first target, so it may not be that bad. I think I would like to test it before I went to a lot of trouble to move it.

Even if it's not JTG it might be easier to Veil the headlights than move everything but that's a decision you will have to make after some testing.

x2, doesn't look like he's running a plate tho, but on that black car, the sensors should be fine where they are

that really doesn't look bad assuming the heads are straight and level.

x2. As long as the sensors are level, and have a clear view of the gun, you are pretty much guaranteed JTG
