Technically not backwards, just receiver is in. You easily flip it. As for sensors too low, they might not be the LI is very powerful and still might get JTG down there. You might be able to get them in the grill, but might have to modify it.
Do you have a pic of where the switch is?

No, I'll have to take a picture of the switch and post it. It is concealed very well just below the driver's side air vent.
You really think I could still JTG with the heads so low? Maybe if I put the plate holder back on so they have a target that is closer to the sensors than the headlights? I've seen laser usage a lot here over the years and it seems like they get you at closer ranges IE. closer than 1000 feet.
The LI's are pretty good and the plate will be the first target, so it may not be that bad. I think I would like to test it before I went to a lot of trouble to move it.
Even if it's not JTG it might be easier to Veil the headlights than move everything but that's a decision you will have to make after some testing.
