    Default If you're going to hardwire, don't splice the wires

    I came accross this nifty little gizmo called add a circuit, I believe it's available at Autozone.

    It saves you from splicing a hot wire for power.




    Just thought I'd share.

    You need to findout what kind of fuses your car uses, there are 2 kinds, before you buy it.

    I have used that with rd's and it works very well.

    I never used them, I assume you run the metal prong next the fuse's leg and then stick it in the fuse box?

    Yes, this basically fits around one of the leg's as a second skin which gives you a tapping point. It's cheap and it works. (4 taps for like $2)

    Thanks eire05 for that info. Never seen those before but I like them.

    I noticed on the install section they said you need to make sure it plugged in the load side? There is a difference in the fuse box?
