    Leave it there and in a few months, your gonna return with a post for a smash window and missing radar. Move it above the rear view mirror. If someone can easily see your radar, you failed.
    BTW, nice hardwire install.

    I would be laughing at you when this happens to u b/c it will eventually. Take the our advice move it above the RVM. But, good intall.

    That is the rear laser sensor which, just as on all other radar detectors, is all but worthless and is mostly a marketing gimmick. If the rear laser sensor ever alerts to laser then, believe me, your car just got popped in the rear by laser. And even then you likely would not get the rear laser alert.

    I can confirm that the shooter can get your speed from behind and your detector will never alert to it. If it did alert, the leo got your speed a second ago.

    i think its best to have the suction cups on the blue tint and the antenna sticking out just under it it mightn't be impossible to see but it is harder for police to see and when they look down on you when you get pulled over they cant see your detector unless they stick there head inside witch they normally don't. better radar coverage can see through other peoples car windscreen better view of the road ahead. i think its the suction cups that give it away not so much the radar detector. and yes harder for other drivers and people that are looking to steal radars to see
