Thanks It took some time, but the time really flied and I missed a few meals without even noticing! That's how much fun it was!

Ivan (interceptor) - the man behind the LI - is not unknown for occasionally recommending an unconventional "bubbles in" formation, on specific vehicles/setups.

Regardless, it does seem that your current placement would bias too much receptive capability towards covering center-mass, and perhaps not enough to cover the outer aspects of the headlamps as well as the lower body panels and rearview mirrors. Without testing, I'd go with the other's recommendation, and turn the bubbles "out" for the time being, and seek to optimize, if-possible, at a later date, to see if the unconventional setup of "bubbles-in" would work better.

Thanks for all the advice... I'll be taking it for a test in the next couple of weeks. I'll keep you posted with the results.

After flipping the jammers (see picture) and fixing the horizontal alignment issue that was pointed out to me here, I finally got the opportunity to test the system.

We did two tests using a Stalker; on the first try the gun was able to pick up the speed at 150ft, and the second one was a JTG.

The concerns about the horizontal alignment are mainly rectified, but I am not 100% satisfied with my vertical alignment. That's mostly due to the car grill's angle. But I am fairly happy with the results from this test, so I don't think I would need to tweak it any more.

    What do you think?

The install looks nice. No more tweaking required. I would do a couple more tests against different laser guns such as the Ultralyte and PL3.

    ^ I'm inclined to agree.

150-ft. is certainly "effective JTG," and is almost "true-JTG" under normal, real-world encounter conditions.

During rigorous testing, even something small and otherwise unpredictable could have resulted in that PT.

Like the good brother said above, test with a few more guns if you can - on a few different occasions. Let's see if this is a true systemic weakness...and even if so, and even if, furthermore, "uncorrectable," at least you'll know that that's your absolute performance end-point.

Consistency-in-protection is really all that can be asked for.

    Great, thanks for the comments.

We were going to test it with an Ultralyte as well, but it was broken! Tough luck
