You should have awesome range with the reciever mounted there. But aren't you afraid of it being damaged by rocks etc?

It's a chance that it will happen. Didn't want to cut the grille and have ALL of my CM's visible (especially driving through Ontario or Quebec)!!!

Good point! But, I drove through an OPP spotcheck yesterday, they were checking for seatbelt compliance. My M27 heads stick way out from the grille (low) on my car. The cop didn't even look at them! I couldn't believe it. You would have to be careful though, as your M47 heads are higher up and stick out from the grille. I like your STi R though, looks good.

I don't know how I missed this thread... but that looks to be the car I remember, except with a few upgrades over the last time I saw it.

Really though: For all out effectiveness that is top-notch install work.

Thank you! Believe me, it IS the same car, just a few differences as you noted (the Blinder M47 over the ZR4, the STi-R to replace my STi Driver, the grille is painted instead of being Veiled - the Veil was chipping). LMK when you're out my way!
