Having hardwired the V1 this weekend (pics later), I've always struggled with my Mass Pike transponder and how to attach it without looking dorky. I keep it in the center console, an usually just hold it as go through the booth, or toss it on the dash, as I prefer not to stick the Velcro tabs on the inside of the glass for various reasons ranging from esthetics to simple ease of glass cleaning.

I looked at the un-used V1 visor clip, and thought the following sequence of events....

Hmmm, a bit too wide unfortunately....

But it comes with Velcro tabs on the back....the oval shape of the clip isn't flat, buuuut...

I'm guessing that's 3M adhesive used, so the width should stick with the taught edge pulls

Thinking some more, as it will be upside down and backwards when used (sort of), I wanted the edge of the transponder to extend down a bit, so I just pushed the clip back to be flush on the other side. (Cat not included. Your install may vary.)

Now it's nicely mounted up above prying eyes...

...and flips down when I need it. I can also swap it between my other cars in a pinch.

Transponder reader-friendly install...Thanks Valentine 1!
