Front jammer heads are a little low. Upper grille would have been more optimal but I can see why you went with the lower grille.

pretty clever putting the CD in the vent and the mute on the shifter! Your LI heads are in the same spot as mine and have tested pretty well in those locations. They should serve you well with your black V.

I get a lot of condensation around my vents when it's humid but hopefully it won't cause you problems with your CD. I drive for hours in the late night/early mornings and when it's really humid I get insane amounts of condensation.

How did you end up running your LI cables? I ran mine through the fender and into the door jamb where the sunroof drains (I think) are. I'm going to change it and go through the firewall in the future.

Good job and hope to meet up in the future!

Install looks great. Can you see all the LEDs and lights on the V1 through the vent? I would think it would cause a few little issues trying to see the signal meter or something. But nonetheless it is a great install. I love the mute button in the shifter boot. Now to go get that setup tested because the top grille would have been more efficient but the bottom grille is way more stealth.

Love the car too by the way!

Indeed I do also get a lot of condensation when I roll with the windows down and a/c on but only then. Also I blocked off that side so that I didn't have to worry about it because I am sure you are right I would have issues. (Right and left vent are independant). Yes I loose a little flow but I am happy with it regardless.

I ended up routing mine through the large rubber gromment right below where the steering shaft goes through. It was a huge PITA shoving a screwdriver through with small cord, finding it on the other side, and getting ahold of it! There is indeed some blood down in there and I barely could reach it, not the first time the V has taken some flesh and blood from me though! If you would like a pic I can do that as well.

I do as well, in fact I will PM you about a meet myself and like 4 other V's are having for the Year one event near ATL!

I actually tested it out and yes I can see all but like two of the indicators LED's and all but the laser LED. The arrows are big enough it is no problem. After running the V1 for a few years I really don't need the visual as much as the audio anyhow. So to answer your question no I don't believe it effects the visual enough to matter vs. the stealth of having it there.

I can't take credit for the mute button as I saw it in someone elses install but it sure is a sweet stealthy location. Thanks for the compliment on the car, I enjoy driving it and modding it myself!
