Blinder on Chevy Cobalt - Painted Blinder Idea

Just for kicks and giggles, I was wondering how to best deal with big black Blinder heads being installed in plain view on my silver car. I still had one of the heads from my wrecked car, so I thought I would try something new.

In these pictures I have painted a head the same color as the car (except for the lens, and placed it on the bumper. It's not installed, but you can get an idea how it would look if it were.

Your thoughts?

Actually, it was Superbolt's installation that inspired me to purchase a black Cobalt for my last car. This time around, I went with the silver one because it was a much better deal. It has bothered me since then that I can't just stick the heads on there and go.

I liked what he was thinking, but I couldn't find any discussion about painting heads as an idea, So I thought I'd see how it looks. So I figured I'd give it a whirl and see how it looks.
