Used to have a 940 but it died about a year ago and I have just gotten around to upgrading. I always had it hardwired up the pillar but now I have a cool little mute button (and a working detector that is much nicer then my old one!). The gauge is in there with adhesive velcrow. The hardest part was hollowing out the stock Saab button blank, drilling holes and then sawing out the space between the holes (in this process I got a huge cut in my thumb that surely would get me stitches had I gone to the hospital).
btw, the saab sticker and boost gauge add 40 horsepower!
The green does not match the green on my dash lights so I set it red to match the RX-65...I should have painted that damn screw black:
I like this more then the pillar pod because I often am looking right at the pillar when I go to pass a car on a crazy Colorado switchback. Its low and I think it looks clean (except for that damn screw).
next mod is to change the leds in the headunit to match the others, either green or red.
