2006 Chevrolet Impala STI Magnum Hardwired

Everyone else was doing it, so i figured why not?

I ran the power off the 12V adapter, which is switched by the ignition. Pulled the mute button through the gauges, built a mount which is run into the headliner to ensure the unit retains it's position.

You can see the unit from the outside if you look closely, a tint strip will soon cover it. I ensured that it sits lower than the front windshield defrost strips.

Very similar to my install. When you park all you have to do is lower your sun visor to make it less visible from behind. Nice.

Very cool. Got my STI Magnum coming in. Putting it in a '08 Ford CVPI, I imagine when I do my hardwire install, it'll be similar to yours.

Thanks for the replies. The install has proved to work very well. It's concealed to the common eye, is audible even with the stereo up, and works wonderfully. I have yet to get a video in my car itself, but here are two videos of me running the STI in a rental.
