final LI pics install 004.JPGTime to get a date to test. The m27's I use to own(just sold literally the minute i put up on ebay immediately 4 guys were trying to make deals) but it came down to the guy from california. And like i said. parking sensors. Be smart. Im not liable. So these i was hanging on till the Li few bugs on my end trying to learn computer stuff at my age is hard. But I am getting better. When I get to test I will have purchased my new laptop and have serial cable and should be all good. I tell you and Im not trying to sound like a broken record with the superb customer service from laserinterceptor. Cliff Crane is probably among the best person to deal with. If he tells you something, he does it. Stand up guy. Stands behind his product. I had few minor problem because emi issues but did what Cliff said to do (and I being an electrician should have known better but im not a 12v guy) theres a big difference.
anyways, i was able to buy looms for protection from contact to the sensor cable wires. Its simply precautionary but this way in 2 days now has not had any emi problem. I believe the way it was run with the sensors on the new Li heads are connected 36" from each head and it was right next to best buy stereo big 100 amp fuse, and all the cars computer ,etc was there. so i rerouted the wires and completly ziptied with looms and the area is clean and not touching anything hot on the new path but thats why i buy looms just in case.any ways heres a couple pics completed with the replacemt m27 blinder with the new Laser Interceptor 2013 brand new firm/heads factory. Very good company and especially the customer service Cliff is unbelievablely helpful during the install when i had a few questions, etc hes there. Very pleased with install. Its maybe ever so slight not 100% level but darn close. close enough where im goping to leave them as is and get them tested next month early february if possible. I still have to set this up. But i am so happy with these Li's and being near Boca Raton where i grew up and living on treaure coast which is all southeast usa and i travel to my gma 3-4 times a year in hernando co fla, spring hill, And they use laser ally and prolite and truspeed among all the top lidar guns. I also know when i goto gainesville they have new guns. I needed the best protection as the newer lidar guns have proven too much for led based jammers. But they worked for me here locally they use prolaser3. Then i go see where i graduated school in 1990 spanish river high and visit a friend or 2 when i go for the day-palm bcg county. Palm beach always has new lidar guns very rich. It also identifies the gun which i like alot. very happy these past couple days now that it seems the emi problem is gone by simply rerouting the install.
I live there, here melbourne all over florida. Bottom line, when going through rich boca raton i know they have laser ally and everything else new. they have the money.(my late dad was a lt. boca fireman r.i.p. dad died 5/3/2012) so i wanted to be prepared and finally found the sweetspot for the unit having not any emi issue since moving the path away from car computer and battery. final LI pics install 005.JPGfinal LI pics install 003.JPG
Living in all these florida areas it is very likely i will run into a gun the m27 didnt cover like laser ally, prolite and 1 other gun i cant remember it was the eccgt rasar laser annual testing and the m27 did actually better than the hp905 against the prolaser3 on the first run. and outdid or did as well as the new Li and new hp905 and m27. all were very respectable and a good article. I simply wanted full protection and a sensor that size Li has for me is perfect size. It fit right in and covers the grill that i cut for the m27's and it would have looked bad with seeing the hp905 being so small and so im very happy to chosen laserinterceptor and the unit after the install was fixed by me...it was never a laserinterceptor issue it turned out it was my darn install problem and Cliff was very nice and as soon as he got my cpu to test and help me with settings being new, programmed new firmware for me and preset eerything for me and sent her back. He did everything and so did i but the day he said try running a different rout and see what happens. Thats when a light clicked on and i went and thought darn them sensors bein 3'feet away from connector, it was right next to emi central- car computer, battery with amp fuse, sub fuse, stereo fuse-aftermarket sony system/alpine/infinitti. Since reroutin yesterday am and over 200 miles driving around or close to that checking out and not one isse. Wow. Im just glad hes not going to beat me up for putting him through all this stress too!Lol jj. I know he wouldnt be mad but im sure were both relieved to say the least. i believe it being no false alarm from emi in 2 days is a good sign. Very happy with install. straight and level forward.
