Default Finished my jammer install *Pictures* (Take a look)

Well here are a few pictures of my Jammer-install on my 2000 Honda Civic EX Coupe. (I just finished it a few hours ago). (Suggestions welcome...)

The jammer is a Blinder M25 (Partnered with G4 and LS). (Maybe made into an M35/45 when I have enough money, or maybe a dual head LI-front and put this to the rear so I know if its front/rear laser).

Please note this is a secondary countermeasure against laser: My main countermeasure against laser will still be the CB radio set-up, nothing beats knowing where the laser-trap is 5, 10, 15+ miles in advance.

I know, I know I should have gotten a LI, but money was an issue here, and as aforementioned the CB radio is still my main countermeasure for I/O radar, and laser.

    The pictures:

Front shot (at jammer-head level). I know its dark, and they are hard to see:

    Another shot of the front:

Showing how far heads are recessed:

Now for the 'custom-job' for the on/off switch and the Warning LED:

    From my POV:

And the 'speaker' off to the side: I will eventually move it to a permanent location.

    Looks good.

I am curious did you have a blank switch on your dash next to you sideview mirror switch? unless you have a dx model?

Also, how are the heads attached?

    Very nice install.

Is your blinders leveled to the ground? Did you use the bubble level that was provided with blinder?

Now the question I have for long-time jammer users:

    1) Are the heads too far recessed? That is as much as I wanted to have them stick out (especially on the 'outter' most edges of the bumper.) With that said I only used mounting-tape so-far just inacse you guys felt that I *need* to move them, otherwise performance would greatly suffer. I felt right where they are was the best compromise between being exposed/being able to pick-up lidar without being impeded.

The receiving LED's are on the inside, and the 'jamming' diodes are on the outside.

Note in the first picture (right side HL)how well the G4 'set-up', it looks much better now (though streaking is still very apparent to anyone looking for it under 10/15feet).

Also this is not a permanent install (only for a new months, until winter). I know I should have mounted higher (upper grill piece) for better HL protection, but the G4 should help in that department, and since front-plates are MANDATORY in NYS, thats where the LEO's are used to shooting. Again, the CB is always my first-line of defense against I/O and laser too. (The chrome Honda symbol is not there for thruway/highway trips: its covered up with electrical tape... Ghetto I know, but it works and I take it off once I get off the thruway).

It is ~18inches from the Center of the jammer-head to the 'turn signal' on the HL assembly... I measured. So the main HL should be covered... the turn signal area... well I shall have to let the G4 do its job, the CB do its job, and again they shoot the LP in NY (for the most part)... but they immediately move to the HL's if they don't get a reading.

Any and all comments/suggestions/(constructive) critiques welcome!

I think AirMoore's setup looks good! The setup should perform very well given the rather low reflectivity profile of the front of his car.

First off, thanks for the encouraging words.
I did have a blank-spot but: (Next to the Mirror controls), but I could not find the piece in the local salvage-yard, and I didn't not want to spend the money to buy it at an auto-store if I messed up (and when I sell the car), especially when I found 4 replacement console-pieces at the salvage yard.

The heads are attached via the mounting brackets and 3M tape (each with a zip-tie on one of the brackets and another zip-tie on the wire in-case the 3M tape fails). I plan to drill hold and screw/bolt them into place, but I wanted to wait until people commented on the head placement. (Just to make sure it was too far recessed, which I think I made a good compromise.)

Thank you for the kind words, and yes they are level to the ground (I made sure the ground the car was level on, then I made sure the heads were level to that). Thanks for asking. I did use the bubble-level blinder gave that sticks into their heads.

I am not sure with Led jammers and its receivers, but the LI's bubbles (its receivers) are always pointed out when positioned like your set up. That will help with maximum headlight protection. As for sticking out I would not want it out too far either, I would almost bring the inside out a hair almost level with the bumper and then angle the outside corner slightly like you have it, just in case for over head shots.

MEM... Thanks on the approval of the set-up, and I hope it does perform well! I cannot wait to see how well the M25, G4, LS perform in tandem (given how well the Blinder did by its-self) on the 'Chrome Demon' @ GOL .

I really wish I had some way to test this set-up (I am looking at any/all options, believe me).

I was thinking the same thing about the dash piece, you know what idea I came up with......instead of replacing the trim piece I would just buy another switch like it and put in, the new owner would think what does this switch do LOL.
