Porsche Targa 4S Install
I finally got my LI Quad installed!!! It was a huge job requiring removal of the front and rear bumpers (I didn't do it the Porsche mechanic did. The front installation is as high as I could get it and should cover the midsection as well as the headlights. Aligning the heads was tricky but we figured it out. The pictures aren't great as it was raining hard here and I was in a small garage.

The rear was a problem because the only area to mount was in the rear plate area. It's heavily recessed and the bumper "nubbins" stick out quite a bit and could block an off-axis shot. So I bought a black plastic cutting board, cut wedges so I could get perpendicular as well as "out" of the recessed plate area a bit, drilled holes for the wire and connected the wedge to a plate frame (drilled a hole in that too so the wire could pass through) and screwed everything together. It's so obvious it's stealthy... if the car was black you'd never see the sensors. The car is so wide I hope I don't get tail light shots as I may not have coverage. The rear heads are perfectly level and are perpendicular to the road... Camera angle was bad. The plate is a likely 1st shot so hopefully that will give me time to get to PSL. Radio mute is enabled...

Chris,
That's a great rear install! The best I've ever seen as a matter of fact! A plastic cutting board! WOW! Can't tell for sure about the TL till you test it but I'm betting it will be no problem!

Re: Porsche Targa 4S Install
Lookin' good!

----
And before anyone asks:
Yes, Ivan, on the LI Forums, pointed out that the front jammer setup was assymetrical.... one head "bubble-out," one "bubble-in." The OP has said that he will address this.
Also, Ivan pointed out the possibility that a vehicle such as this one, based on its physical profile as well as the placement of the LI heads, may benefit from an unconventional "bubbles in" setup.- Allen / Usual Suspect "DumboRAT" / One of the Three Stooges

Re: Porsche Targa 4S Install
Why not put them inside the nubbins? Buy a couple of spares, cut a slot in each with a Dremel, and mount the heads inside.
