    Default Blinder M47 & 9500ix in 2011 BMW 335i

Here is my install on my 335i:

9500ix hardwired to glove box feed.

M27 installed in front of intercooler and wired through passenger door accessory port.

M27 CPU installed on the back side of glove box fuse panel. M27 selector mounted below radio.

M47: Jury is still out on the two additional heads sitting in garage. Now that HPD is shooting rear laser, I may decide to do the rear deck lid install. Looks like a lot of work though. Any BMW E90 tipsters?

have you gotten it tested? i would make sure you don't need 4 on the front before you throw those on the back, i'm not sure if the m27 could cover the rear of an e9x

No, new to TX, and I would like to get it checked out. Not sure what you mean about the rear coverage? You mean the two additional heads that make it an M47?

the 9500ix looks great. but you should def get your setup tested. You may find you will have to put the extra blinders on, in the kidney grill vertical. also. did you make sure the wires of the sensors are inward?

It's a shame BMWs are so hard to protect.

Yea, the wires are inward. The best tests I have are multiple real life encounters that didn't result in ticket; and let's just say that I live adventurously :-). I have thought long and hard about whether or not if I could live with the K. Beans looking all jacked up. It’s a tough call for sure.

Nice car. Install sounds similar to mine. I have LI though. I need to get mine tested sometime soon. You have the N55 motor? Mine is a 2007 N54. I love modding it. Next year, upgraded turbos are on the list.

agree 100%. i had my setup installed with doublesided 3m tape for a very long time, and it only took a couple minutes to install. i think with the 2 extra heads in the grill vertically, you SHOULD be covered.

Sounds like a good plan. I just need to identify a test source in Houston.

Thanks. I was torn between the S4 and the 335i for some time, but the styling, addictive performance, and value of the 335i cannot be beat...and... I LOVE the N55 low end torque. Feels like an 8, but with fuel economy close to that of my Honda (when I drive my wife somewhere). Can't wait until a few years go by and some mods become available for the N55 as well.
