Re: The 19 most complex & dangerous roads in the world
There were a lot of dangerous roads in chile. There was one that I cannot find on google maps. We were lost, in the dark, on a cliff, on a switchback road like the ones pictured, covered in snow and ice... and the road was slanted towards the cliff... the other guys in the car were saying prayers I'm pretty sure.
I found this one for which I was a passenger in a bus. Not nearly as bad, but cool anyhow. You had to time the turns for the semis not to be in the turns.

Going 140+mph on the German autobahn...legally!!!
Disclaimer: Everything I say is a lie. I do not really speed. I just want to sound cool

Re: The 19 most complex & dangerous roads in the world
I've driven them all and lost many a good compadre. Their cries of terror continue to haunt my dreams to this day. The grating sound of steel on stone and the smell of burning fuel and flesh refuse to leave my mind some nights. Why I survived while so many fell is beyond me. So I continue to drive, putting the miles beneath my tires and the danger behind me... But the hazards ahead remain. Crouched, waiting, and I know that it's only a matter of time before I join my brethren in a fiery coffin at the bottom of some god forsaken mountain far from my home...
(Well, not really, but there is this really bad intersection down the road from my house where a bush makes it hard to see the stop sign. An old lady got T-boned there about a week ago. Really... I saw the skid marks... It scares me...)

That road in Bolivia, I've been on something very similar in Ecuador.

We've traveled on roads similar to that in Mexico. Was real fun when the heavy fog rolled in. All we could do was follow on of the semis, and hope he didn't fall off the cliff.

Only one I've traveled is Gravelly Hill (#8) 3 years ago. We need more complex roads in the US to make driving more fun and make better drivers.
