    Description is misleading. It looks like this is about blinding infrared cameras on photo radar and not avoiding the actual police.

    "It looks normal to the human eye" with the exception of the plate obstruction that'll get you pulled over every week...

    I can imagine trying to explain to the LEO why I had those 3 things on my reg plate blocking the numbers .

    Then, there's always the fact that the batteries will run out and most likely just when you need them.

    Yeah. I mean, I guess the homemade things work as a proof of concept, but if you actually wanted to use this you'd want it in the form of thin screw-on bar like for backup cameras, and hooked up to a power source.

    If it works, you shouldn't get caught... quite a gamble though.
