Spectre & Radar
Can a spectre and radar be used at the same time :?:

Yes they operate on different frequencies

The Spectre site says that the device will not be interfered by a radar gun, but at the same time it does say that it's frequency range includes K band. Probably it doesn't.

That is - if the cop is doing a Spectre operation, he may well just leave it on to put a chance of catching someone who is stoned. Or using a laser isn't out of the question.

I do recall Gim saying that he gets the odd false from door openers but not strong enough for him to believe there is an rd close by.... so maybe there is some K interference.

In Australia, K & Ka radar is used with Stalcar RDD's at the same time,and yes they can false occasionally with door openers.

When using the mover (G2) and the front antenna gets activated it SOMETIMES gives you a quick alert but you know it's a false when it happens. It's all in the positioning of the Spectre.

Excellent news. I am going to install a door opener inside my Cosmo that acts as an excuse if they pick up my hidden RX-75............ :wink:
