vector and rx65 not v2 undetectable

I've seen a couple videos on you tube that show the Vector series and the rx65 was able to be detected by VG2 RDD. Is there any truth to these videos.I would post the link but cant figure out how.

Here's a video I did when I got my VG-2.

VG-2 Interceptor RDD vs. Valentine 1 and Bel RX65

The RX is detectable from 10+ feet away. I haven't tested outdoors to see if that extends to hundreds of feet or not.

VG-2 is a minimal risk these days anyway. Spectre is the thorn in our sides now.

I always laughed at people doing point blank testing, even the STI is not immune at point blank range.

Kudos for the one that at least went into the adjacent room.

As for "10+" feet, taken literaly that means detectable at 10 feet or more, but what about 9 feet is it then immune? Obviously not.

As I understood, these premium detectors are not perfect, but its not like a RDD can pick you up from afar. however the bad thing is if a officer "rolls" up on you with out you realizing it he will know immediately it is your car, as apposed to alerting far away the officer then has to guess which car it is.

Yes, As my video pointed out my RX65 is detectable from 323 feet away.
But 13 degrees from center on the RDD it was only detectable 243 feet away.
It obviously got better as you got farther away from 0 degrees.

But me behind serg's car it was less then 6 feet and most of the time I didn't detect it from the rear even that close.

that kind of distance on a VG-2? I certainly would not call that undetectable.

So being inside the cabin cuts the leakage quite a bit.

i'm sure you mean from the spectre

i couldn't get my vg2 to go off on my rx65 if it was more than 15' away even if they were plugged into the same outlet

Wow, when detectors say that they are VG-2 undetectable I took it literally. I didn't know they were detectable close up. I guess us radar newbies learn something new every day.

in the real world someone running a vg2 would have a hard time picking up an rx65.

now cobras that claim their vg2 undetectable just shut off their lo when they pick up the vg2 lo. but before it shuts off a cobra will light up a vg2 from a mile or more away before that pos picks up the vg2
