If you look under the Texas silhouette on the side of the doors it specifies what that particular unit does.
Most say "highway patrol," but I believe there are others that say "weights and measures" and "commercial vehicle enforcement".

I have A bel 940 vector is this favorable to spectra.

Bel 940V leaks and is picked up about the same as these models. 955,965,995.
Depending on what model spectre is used 1,2,3 of 4 the latest model the detection of the 940 will be different, but on average 800-1300 feet.

And don't forget that most Law Enforcement Officers are more of a Opinion Enforcer officer so they may treat you different based on their opinion of your LEGAL device.
