Re: Idea how to avoid RD detection by Spectre
Nope. That won't work. When a LEO is running Spectre, they will not be running radar. That's kind of the point, not to warn RD users of your presence.

Mustang GT Convertible,
9500ci,
Veil,
V1 3.812 hardwired with X and K off, Laser Interceptor Quad.
9500ix confiscated by the woman and hardwired high in her car.

Maybe you should buy some used Bel STi? You can get them for a reasonable price...

Re: Idea how to avoid RD detection by Spectre
im sorry mate but its very doubtful that that will work you have to spend the money or get a lone and pay it back. not only that Australia doesn't use mph they use kph we arent Americans over here. and they are really tough on law enforcement they also got 9mm semi automatic glocks (hand guns) to stop you if you run take it from some one thats been that they also use lots of fixed speed cameras and mobile speed cameras in side tunnels unmarked police cars laser guns radar guns.
only option is bel sti or 9500ci remote. i wouldnt recommend a dash mount detector the fines are high only place they are legal is Western Australia and they are thinking about banning them there too

I can buy any radars, but from my point of view 1000AUD on hi-end RD not reasonable for several things: 1) I don't drive on highways often 2) I'm not a street racer 3) previously I was using Cobra untill my car was hacked and it was stolen. 200$-Cobra worked not too bad at that time.
I've used mph insted of km/h just for common american standard (i thought in this forum were 99.9% Americans ).
Recently I found in yahoo that the fine for radar here in Victoria was up to 2000AUD, and that made me sad
Looking at the tests (Radar Roy's guide, Delonix web page) you can see the following: spectre can detect Whistler PRO 78 C only from very close distances 30-40m (100-150feet). It is pretty good, as from my point of view, we can visually observe police car at much longer distances, that is enough to switch Whistler off. What do you think?

Alex, I was thinking about that, but I have one concern: STI is a top in the range, and I don't think anybody will sell it untill STI works

Sounds good, but buying second hand STI's at Amazon, nobody can predict their conditions. Also, it is not buying at shop, have no idea how I'll pay for this
If you really have any guys selling stis, let me know in private message

Only if you can spot an unmarked TMU vehicle in your rear-view mirror.
