    Are there any estimates as to how frequently LEOs use radar detectors to detect Ka emissions?

    There was an article here in my local paper about a VSP LEO that pulled over a motorist for a RD. When he saw the sat radio, he checked license and registration, all was ok and let them go. I can't find the article. Sorry.

    Wow this is an old thread. Now there are RDD proof RD's like the Bel STi, Bel STi-r+, RedLine and 9500ci.
    There is even a new Spectre, but it still cant detect the above.
