Default NY I-87 Trooper Motorcycle Spotted

As long as I have been driving around NYS from buffalo to NYC and Albany - I think this is the first trooper I have ever seen on a Motorbike. He was lasering the southbound traffic under an underpass north of the Clifton Park rest stop (exit 9 off the N'Way). Maybe brought in special for track season.

Has anyone else seen a Trooper Motorbike doing trffic enforcement before?

I found a picture of a trooper motorbike that loks like the one I saw.

This pic is from the rear, but this is what it looked like. Pic is down on the right side of the page.

^^ That's a Hog...

I've never seen a NYS Trooper on a bike before either in my *24* years of driving

BTW, I wonder how hard it would be to get one of those "NYSP Proudly Served" personalized plates.....ticket eliminator.

I do a bit of contract work for NYS DOCS and travel to most prisons to see things the "guests of the state" make. I have a few unofficial plates they made for me at Auburn Correctional a few years back when they got a new personalized plate machine, but I doubt they would give me one of those.

I love all the plates people request but get denied. My favorite is 3M TA3. NYS DMV told me Vermont actually issued that plate and had to go get it back. LOL

I'll be honest, I had to look that up. Pretty funny though.
