    Default TORONTO Area RLC Locations!

This is my own file, works great, but it fits the Garmin format only, redlightcameras.csv, maybe Tom Tom, Magellan and other GPS devices use a different format to create your own POI file... copy, paste, use Garmin's free POI Loader (read the instructions!!!) and their own USB cable that came with the GPS... enjoy it

You can replace "RLC" with "name of the intersection" :!:

But RLC or no RLC, never ever run a RL, it's not just wrong, is extremely dangerous :!: :!: :!:

No, all on my own, God is my sole witness I did not copy from anywhere else, at the POI Factory you have to pay for such things plus no idea how reliable their info really is... I've done some reading about how to create your own Custom POIs, for Garmin format, then I worked with my Garmin's database, the 'Intersections' folder, also I used the official Toronto Transportation website and their RLC subforum where they list all names of the RLC intersections (no GPS coordinates), but my Garmin gives me all GPS coordinates for any intersection... also, there are more RLC on the ground than the ones listed on the Toronto website, all updated in my file which includes the Mississauga and Brampton RLCs as well... a little bit of work but ain't no afraid of work plus it's 8) to know that you've done it all by yourself

My Garmin 350 accepts just 50 POIs per file so you'll have to split it into 2 files, redlight1.csv with 50 POIs and redlight2.csv with the rest of them, the POI Loader will automatically d/load both...

Thanks, but the only major urban area I drive in is the GTA and I've already got all its 57 RLCs in my GPS... and works/alerts perfectly 8) and about speed traps, I know ALL streets, roads, areas where city and OPP cops have done laser and/or radar, enough just to see a speed trap on some street or road and that particular location will stay forever in my memory

Of course you don't need a GPS device in order to keep you away from running RLs, GPS or no GPS, running RLs is very wrong and extremely dangerous!!! Also, each RLC intersection has a warning sign posted 200 m before each corner of the intersection so you really have to not care about RLs in order to totally ignore the warning signs and deliberately run the RL!!! In my case, being my very first GPS device in my entire life and LOVE it like crazy for the tremendous help is giving me on a very smooth ride w/out the need of stopping the car after dark to check out the freaking street name (with no lights around) I cannot read at all or to look into the map book for a particular new street, so I've done the RLC file just out of curiosity, to see how it works in real life, and it works GREAT, in no way I bought the GPS to help me avoid RLC intersections!!!
