Buying a LIDAR gun on ebay

Why is that everytime I find a LIDAR gun on ebay the sellers won't sell it to anyone outside the US? WTF is the go with that?

Generally, most just do not want to deal with the extra paperwork. Some have been burned before from International buyers. Some do not know how to ship Internationally and don't wish to learn. We ship Internationally and to Australia all the time. Never been bit...yet!

Are you looking at that Laser Atlanta? There is a repeat UL sellier in Australia that puts them up frequently. Just keep checking.

Yeah I was looking at the atlanta. Thanks for the info Cliff because a UL is what i'm really for. I'll keep an eye out.

Yeah I don't understand it either, the extra paperwork is only a customs declaration form slap that on, pay the postage and it's done.

If you don't have a US based contact to have your stuff forwarded through you can use a US mail forwarder, I've never used them but heard shipito is pretty good compared to others.

Other options are as Cliff suggested keep an eye out for dealer then let them know what you're after.

Or if you got a week and a half free drive over here and I'll test it for ya

I don't like shipping anything too valuable overseas, because I can't track it. If the buyer tells Paypal that they never got it, I'm SOL. $50? Fine. $1500? Too scary.

I've shipped countless items outside the USA. I will only ship to the UK, western Europe, Canada and Australia. Everything else has been a crap-shoot.
