Video editing

What do you all use to edit your vids? I use Windows Movie Maker, but its kind of limited as to what I can do. So what do y'all use? And is it free?

I occasionally use iMovie.

I prefer to edit the video directly on my phone by trimming away the extra baggage then uploading it to the comp then to youtube. I use annotations from youtube if necessary. This is my technique for most videos. No program necessary.

Sony Vegas 10.0 for my countermeasure videos. For other more professional videos I use Adobe After Effects CS5.

And is it free?

I'm looking for a program as well. currently I am just shortening them on youtube but if they are too long they wont upload and I cant trim them

Windows movie maker is what I use too. But I'm not to sure about other free video editors.

i have dual boot hackintosh PC on Core i7 quad with OS X and run Final cut pro

I could never convince myself to pay that much for software for after effects or final cut. I've seen how much this costs my school. Thankfully I get everything else software related for free from them

Windows Movie Maker and Quicktime Pro. Occasionally I use iMovie.

WinAVI Video Converter and windows movie maker, if I want to add titles etc.
