After my accident in January, I finally started to see the light on dash cameras. I have always said I wouldn't because the last thing anyone should want when breaking the speed limit is video evidence. Well after my accident, I understand how the effects of the crash can distort your perceptions as to what actually happened.
There are other good reasons too, such as wanting to share my encounters with the forum in video. I know I always enjoy watching the videos you guys post on here, and would like to join in the fun.
Since I am still in the process of saving for my next jammer setup, I have been reluctant to spend money on other toys. This was too good to pass up at a mere 60 dollars. Hopefully the quality is usable, though.
It is a deal with the devil because I bought it on Ebay, directly from a vendor in China. I don't have a problem with the Chinese per se, but do notice when a manufacturer undercuts his wholesalers. This same camera is sold by resellers elswhere on the net for 200 dollars! Anyway, ethics aside, they bought thiers from China too. Now for the long wait for delivery from CN.
The Cam is a windshield mounted unit that records on an SD card (not included, up to 64 GB), and has a 120 degree view. This causes a slight fish eye lense effect, but doesn't look like it's real noticable. It captures 30 frames per second regardless of resolution, and has a flip down LCD screen.
I found video review on Youtube that shows details and actual video:

Now the long wait for delivery from China (hope it's not on slow boat). Your thoughts are welcome. I'm hoping you don't tell me I'm waiting for a total POS. But if you do, at least it's a cheap POS.
