Well, after a long overdue period of time. I finally corrected the problems I had with all three of the Vascar units I got my hands on three years ago. Thanks to my new found lab, and
prototyping or protoboard/breadboard. I am well underway in fixing many Vascar units at the moment. So far I have fixed three broken units. One Vascar Plus IIIC which is the latest and
greatest Vascar and in use all over the Common Wealth of PA where I reside. Also another common unit I am sure in my area, the Vascar Plus II I have fixed two of these units as well. Also
I have repaired two original Vascar Plus units.
I am happy to say I have figured out the color coding for the pinout on the newer Vascar Plus II and III and IIIC units. Purple and White are 12VDC nomial pins. Grey and Black are
ground with 0VDC in an imaginary world. The solution has been found. Here are my final results, and the completed and fixed/repaired units.

Hope everybody gained something from this. I know I did. It took me forever to fix these bad boys but I avoided the 250.00 cable purchase and they work like champions like brand new!
Just some simple solder and personal investments and research did the trick. Hope everyone likes this. Will be adding a better video alpine- style of the finished product in FULL HD soon!
These vid's are horrid but hey can't say much just a Gal SIII video cam so is what it is for now hopefully everyone gets the jist. Better vid's coming soon! In action on the roadway!
