Today as I was pulling out of my driveway and I got a short burst of KA. I then pulled out of my subdivision and long and behold there was a Monroe County Sheriff using his Ka instant on in his brand new shiney black police car. They used to be white and red Ford Crown Vicís. I turned right going parallel to his line of intermittent fire (gun pointing towards me as I head away). My V1 lit up again as the LEO clocked me at about 100 feet. I made sure I was doing 40 in a 35 zone. I then did my civic duty and flashed an on coming car heading towards the LEO. I looked in my rearview mirror and he braked and then my V1 once again lit up. I saved his A$$. He had to be doing 50 easily. So anyway, there is this hill I go over and as I continue to head away from the intermittent KA, the V1 continues to intermittently alert me on the other side of the hill and down this long straight road. It had to be well over a mile from the source. I was very impressed with the rear range I got out of this intermittent KA scenario.
