Will this be ok for UK use?
Im looking at buying a valentine its the v1 model and 1.8
Entering the s/number on the valentine site gives me the following infomation:
V1 Description: Radar circuitry known in-house as V1.8. This is our latest and best performer on both radar and laser with just one exception—it lacks POP Protection. Of interest to those who drive in Europe, the latest V1 version also has a Euro Mode.
Upgrade Recommendation: You have a sophisticated security system, and we’re cautious about recommending an Upgrade. If you believe in keeping up with technology, particularly if the POP Mode is being used in your area, then go ahead. V1’s approach to the POP problem is superior to all others in the industry. If you drive in Europe, you will appreciate our new Euro Mode which improves protection on photo radar as it is used in the E.U.
So it doesn't have pop I know but I dont think this is being used in the UK anyway. Also by reading what the valentine site says I dont think its got Euro mode. Will this actually make any difference performance wise as I can still turn band X off etc manually. Just wondering if the photo radar will be rubbish without the euro mode.
I need a reply ASAP thanks.

you may as well buy new. even if the price of the used v1 + upgrade comes to $100 less than new, why get less than the latest & greatest?
It also depends on your location - Ku isn't used in the US.
I'll step aside here & let someone who knows more fill you in.
Where do you drive.
Cant buy a brand new one here unless i pay like £600, valentine dont ship them to other countries. I drive on the motorways and around London, there are quite a few of them mini gatso's set up everywhere.
