Default Two ka hits from one leo

Driving into work tonight .excelerating up the hill outside of town
i get a 3 bar(v1)ka arrow ahead where there should be none.
I let off the gas and brought it down to 50(psl)
drove around the corner and the ka went off the scale ..Sitting on the side
was a state leo . pointing up the hill in the same direction as i am going.
As i go by my arrows switch to sideways and than a second bogey alert.
and the arrows pointing behind me with a good solid 2 on the bogey counter.
than the 2 goes to a one.
So my take on this is he was set up shooting one behind him and one ahead of him..Can they do this.? I would think they would interfere..

If the rear alert lingered for a long time, then it is possible he was running both front and rear antennas at the same time, although this is a feature limited to only a couple of radar units (Stalker DUAL DSR 2X for example). The two antennas won't interfere with each other.

But most likely, at close range the strong signal caused image frequencies" which resulted in the second bogie. It happens...

In Colorado all the State Troopers run dual Ka antennas...not that you're in COlorado but the dual antennas are out there

Yeah the rear (1st bogie) alert lasted for about maybe 100 yards after i passed him
    then it dissapeared.

That's a "ghost bogey", I get those on my V1 sometimes too. It usually happens when the LEO is close by, or when there's a lot of reflections. It's not really a major issue since you're already on alert for enforcement action and the shadow bogey disappears as you move away from the threat.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!

If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
