Anyone running the newest V1 3.826

Just curious, I was thinking of stepping up to a V1 and wanted to know if anyone has been running one for a while to figure out if Valentine has fixed the J function and K falsing I hear about all the time. Also, if I order one from Valentine's website will it be the new 3.826 or will it be an older rev.

Also, I currently have my x50 hardwired with a smart cord and was wondering if and when I do get a V1 would I be able to run it off that, or is it recomended to use the V1 direct wire, the setup I have now is semi permanent and would take some work to remove from my car if so.

j function is not fixed

k falsing? i get legit k alerts from school bus and supermarkets... dont think they are false

but the arrows are awesome so i dont mind the flaw

Mine seems to be fixed and the k-band detection seems greater.

J functin thats far from fixed.

K-band Falsing (I assume you mean ghosting?) It seems to be pretty much taken care of, I have had a few instances where I was/am suspicious its not totally fixed... but it (the amount of confirmed ghosting) seems to be next to zero on the .826, or its just being extremely overshadowed because the J function issues.

3.826 is the current software version. According to an email I received from VR (posted somewhere on this forum) there are no "J" alert issues.

I read a post that said they caught the issue earlier this year and corrected it.

I have yet to have a "real threat J'd out " issue and my second V1 which was purchased March of this year. I have gone up to a LEO with KA on and parked it. I have done the same and run a cheap cobra that J'd it out but no the real Ka. Go figure! I'll keep trying and you guys will be the first to know.
