Default true or false about L mode and the arrows

the other day i was on the freeway running in A mode when the arrows got confused and pointed ahead when the CHP was actually coming up behind me. a member told me that by putting the unit in L mode, the arrows will never be confused...what is your take on this answer?

The first alert might have been from a reflected object in front of you since the cop was coming up from the rear.

Full Logic mode doesn't have anything to do with the arrows. It simply filters a little stronger. In my experience with my V1 the arrows are pretty much dead on all the time. (my only gripe is they lag behind when changing direction) If you're getting front arrow before rear on an LEO coming from behind, I'd check your RD position and make sure it has a clear view to the back.

I recently had just the opposite thing happen I heavy traffic.
The constant Ka cop was in front of me with the rear radar on parked two lanes over.
The alert was telling me it was behind me. I was a little confused but figured the 18 wheeler and SUV’s behind me were reflecting the radar signal to the back antenna.
The V1 must have had a stronger signal from the rear then instead of the front.
