if you have all the adaptors and manual and box etc then the chances of it being stolen are slim.. plus you cant buy any acessorys for the v1 unless you provide a serial number, as a few people on here have found out!

stolen v1s dont have the serial numbers on them...

Call VR and tell them what you did and give them the number.
I have also heard of a case on this forum where the e-bay seller called VR to transfer a serial number to the new owner.
You could e-mail the seller for this.
Like Ford_Focus_05 said, VR can switch the info for you.

You probably won't be getting it back from VR if you sent it in for service

Default Call them as ask them

Just run the serial number and see if anything comes up, i think that if it was stolen it should tell you when you run the serial number i just think that if you call them and tell them you bought it on ebay they either will tell you it's stolen or it's fine I dont think they would call the cops on you or anything they might offer service to your V1 thats all. well keep us posted on the result...

What are the chances of seeing a parked car with a v1 in the window ready to be stolen, obviously the chances are slim due to the fact that people who spend $400 on a detector arnt going to leave it in view!

i got mine from ebay, but it came with the box and everything apart from the 3m velcro label to stick it on the dash...

oh and the instructions were in german, as i brought it from germany,

on the instructions it said r technic, they are a company who sells the v1s in europe....

I doubt that even if the product was reported stolen that Valentine would care. I am sure they would not confiscate it.
