I know you can make the remote display a very clean installation. I don't have a problem with that. My issue is that I don't see the point of going to the trouble of integrating the remote into my dash if I still have to have the V1 hanging from my windshield.
Has anyone ever taken apart a V1 and put the rear facing sensor in the back window or the third brake light of a car. If this was possible, I think you could make a very slick installation.
Let me know wht you guys think and hit me with any other info you have.
Thanks
Josh
I saw a web site once where someone mounted the entire V1, facing backwards, in an NSX third brake light. Perhaps it was here:

Thats how it looks in my car, takes 15 mins instead of 4 hours when taking the dash apart)

P.S. one MORE reason, y the V1 is " DA BEST"
Now I don't feel so alone for having hardwired an RX65 in my Ford Escort....Originally Posted by Orxan4ik

On concealment, I don't know if this has been mentioned but you might consider putting the V1 in front of the mirror with just the rear antenna peeking out next to it. It's still in the windshield (because it has to be) but at least someone coming up from behind you is going to have a hard time seeing it. Same goes for a cop passing on your right...practically invisible. You lose rear laser this way but it might be worth it to you.
