***Update***
Just received my V1 back the other day from calibration/repair at VR. Glad to have it back. It seems to work even better now than I can ever remember. Its a v.3.619 and I did NOT do the upgrade. It seems more sensitive on X and K as I'm getting alerts in areas that haven't given strong if any signals in the past (door openers, motion detectors etc.). And in these areas, nothing has changed. The real test came the other day when I got a Ka alert almost a mile in advance. He was around a long sweeping curve and down a hill. Picking off cars with IO, but I was still warned WAY ahead of time.
VR did not charge me for the repair and sent it back 2nd day air, also no charge. They really stand behind their product.

thats great news.. I did some tests tonight and definatly my V1 is way down on sensitivity, even on door openers my old detector picks them up from over 200m and the V1 wont. I go up to the door opener and I try the old detector and full signel and all lights, but the V1 only just picks it up on the lowest signel strength :x
Did you get a free full upgrade or did they just do a firmware upgrade?

Decided against the POP upgrade for now. Not used in my area (that I know of) and not in any other areas that I travel. If I suspect POP cropping up, I'll reconsider. Hopefully any minor J-problems will be resolved by then.
Peaceman-Send it in! I know from where you are its easier said than done, but VR has fast turnaround. Mine was gone for 6 days total, including shipping time.
