Newbie V1 user here (only had it for 4 days).
I was driving along 101N in the evening with heavy slow traffic (almost bumper to bumper), and all of a sudden V1 picked up some Ka signal from the rear. Bogey count = 1.
10 seconds later as the signal strength was increasing, bogey count jumps from 1 to 2 to 3 then to 4 (all Ka)!!!! I looked around and saw a single CHP behind me on the right lane. He was pretty close behind me (1 to 2 cars) for about a minute, and the bogey count fluctuated between 2 to 4 the whole time. As I eventually went further ahead, the bogey counter went back to 1 for a sec or 2 then nothing. I saw no other cops all that time.
Was that normal? Is that what people called "ghosting"? I did a search and most people had at most 2 from a single source. My guess on the 4 bogey counts was because of the slow traffic and so the radar wave had a lot of cars to bounce off from or something? At some point, the arrow was pointing forward even the LEO was 2-3 cars behind me!?!
Sorry if this is a dumb question, but just want to confirm my unit wasn't malfunctioning or anything. I guess it is not really a big deal since nobody in their right mind would speed with that many Ka hitting on them.

Ka (option 6) is set to more responsive (if that means anything)
