Anyone notice false laser alerts from certain cars head or tail lights? I get false lasers from Q45 headlights.

It's not the headlights it is laser cruise control and it is always on because it pre pressurizes the brakes in case of an emergency.
Another reason that I prefer the V1.7 even though the laser is outstanding it won't pick these up.
With my 2.909 I was getting laser falses from these cruise controll systems, along with the tail lights on those chevy trailblazers. Some Merc's do it also. Everytime it happens my blood pressure skyrockets.
yeah, i always get it from Q45's.. it's pretty annoying
Actually when I had a 1.7 it picked up both the Infiniti cruise and Trailblazer/Envoy tail lights. Of course so does my 1.8.
I was going to post a new thread on this, but I figured I'd put it here instead, since it relates to an encounter with an FX45 I had tonight.
I just got on the highway around 8 PM (getting dark), and I was behind a tractor trailer that had "shiny" paint (almost like flat tin foil) on the back. Shortly afterward my V1 sounded a laser alert, and at first the front arrow lit, and then it switched to the rear arrow. I thought that was a bit odd, this couldn't be a normal laser encounter. Soon afterward a FX45 passed me on the left.
Apparently the V1 picked up a reflection of the FX45's laser off the back of the truck, which caused the front arrow to light, and then the rear sensor picked up the signal afterward.
If I'm passing you on the right, YOU are in the wrong lane!
If speed kills, how come I'm still alive?
