    Default band id .. older v1s

    on an older model v1 like a verision 1.7 without the 4 leds to identify the band.. is there any other way to identify which band it is besides sound??

    The decimal point in the seven segment display bogey counter lights up steady for K band, and blinks for Ka band. If no decimal point is lit, that means X band. I rely on the sound to ID the band.

    Ahhh, I forgot about the decimal point--but they are so small you better learn the sounds.

    X2. It's a lot easier just to learn the sounds. IMHO they are distinct enough.

    On my 1.7 v2.909 it does have the leds to identify the bands.
