hit by laser from an LEO driving toward/past me?

so i was just driving around trying to haul a$$ in my old jeep and i was on cardsound road in the florida keys..basically just one lane going each way with mangroves and trees on both sides of the street and the PSL ranges from 40-55...so neways i was rocking my dads other v1 3.821 and and i was going aroung the bend and i just saw the front of the crown vic and slammed on the brakes..i was going like 75 in a 45.(no biggie)...and right as i let offf the brakes i got a laser signal for a good 2 or 4 seconds and then it stopped and the LEO just kept driving past me..now i know there were no officers standing on the side of the road so it must have been fromn inside the car while he was moving..but i thought they couldnt get a reading while they were moving

no chance it cant work like that, and he'd have to drive and aim the laser .

there is no moving laser! so i put it down to cops cruise control or some other infrared light which set the v1 off.

even the sun will set it off..

isnt it possible he could have been unexperienced and aimed the gun at me hoping to acheive a speed?

maybe his kid was in the car getting a ride home and playing with the laser gun.... anything is possible. there are no moving laser systems in the us, it was either a fluke or they were messing with ya.

Maybe a passenger in the cruiser was playing with the gun, taking distance readings perhaps, or shooting a sign to clock the cruiser's speed or something.

Or it was a false from an Infiniti or other luxobarge with a laser cruise control that was close by.
