Default Valentine 1 vs Multanova 6F, Perth Western Australia.

I posted this info in another thread, but thought I would share it in a new post for those who wanted to see..

    I use a V1 3.826 on 'Euro Mode'

On the freeway, raining with medium traffic i recorded the following detection ranges. The multanova is set-up on a tripod facing traffic (takes picture of front of car)

    Middle lane- - - 916 meters
    Inside Lane 1 - 710 meters
Inside Lane 2 - 550 meters (blocked by truck)

I was really happy with this range. Much more then the Escort X50.

Do you have any data on the X50 - or is this just a "I did great results on the v1, but nothing on the x50 - and I just want to say the v1 is better. "

That doesn't mean he has data on it. . . he just shows he owned it.

Ok yes, I did use the Escort X50 for a long time...

Ranges against a forward facing multanova varied from 200-400 meters usually. Its smaller detection range can be attributed to the fact it does not have a Narrowband Ka scan option.

While 200-400 meters is pleanty of time to slow down before you are in the Multanovas range (40m) I was just blown away by the V1 :P

Don't you have any Ka radar guns operating outside of the V1's Euro mode bands? Like the Stalker Dual 34.7 GHz Ka.
