If your close enough, the tail lights on the newer model Chevy Trailblazers will cause a laser alert on a V1.

I think you can set it in a mode to limit/eliminate that stuff, but I'm not up enough on the technicalities to tell you what that mode is.

V1 is the best detector for Laser and K-band...from my opinion based onwhat i have heard.

But being the best comes with some falses

I don't think I've ever had that many laser falses in a single day, but I do get them. Where do you have your detector mounted? For some reason I get fewer falses when it's mounted high than when I put it mid-windshield. I still seem to get decent detection on actual threats. Neon brake lights and laser-guided cruise control on the Infiniti FX45 will set it off. Brent even posted a video of his being set off by someone's BMW brakelights.

Valentine implies that the increased falses from mounting low are due to sun reflections from the hood.
