    Default Mounted it on the windshield...(pics inside)

    Is this a good setup? (minus the hardwiring..) is it level enough? high enough?

    I probably have another 4 inches before I run out of windshield, plus if I were to go higher, It would have to be to the left of the RVM, instead of being close to center.

    Looks good to me, although I personally like my V1 above the RVM. Hardwiring a RD that is in the middle of the windshield doesnt make sense to me, because no matter what you do you will alwaise have a cord that is in view.

    I can't get mine above the RVM, there isn't enough room to stick it in there.

    Plus, between the EZ pass and the military base pass... there is no room.

    Try just to the side of the rvm and a lil higher,but ultimately it's up to you..

    Ok.. I moved it around.. the location where I had it (in the pics) is probably the best spot.

    One last question;

    From me sitting in the drivers seat, it looks like it faces on a downward angle.

    However, when I hop out of the car and look at it from the side, it looks like its facing straight and level.

    Is this 'normal' because of the way the windshield slants?

    If you happen to have a small level,use it .Just place it on the top of the V1 from front to back,then side to side.The only downside of where you have it is that you will have other drivers watching your rd

    Ok.. I'll try the level.

    I don't really mind drivers watching it.. (if they can, my car is small to see into). As long as it works.. I am fine.
