This seems to have gotten a bit out of hand, not sure why the folks would pay that kind of $$$ for a year old V1 that sold on eBay yesterday for $460
...this is why I always sell and purchase a fresh unit when it's time to upgrade.

The only people who could justify that are foreign bidders who can't buy a V1 normally since they won't ship overseas.
Doesn't Mike ship overseas?
People never look to see how much it would cost brand new at V1's site and they assume Ebay will be cheaper...but in the long run it's not
Spoiler: show
Nope, only US and a few Canadian provinces...Originally Posted by nomore55

I think customs is hard to deal with if the unit is remotely illegal they will confiscate the unit.
It is under our store then shopping information:
(Where we can ship to
Shipping address must be in the USA or Canadian Provinces AB, BC or SK. Adult signature required at delivery)
It's one thing I've never understood about VR, why they won't ship overseas?
Why do they also have Euro mode on their 3.821 onwards, when they don't sell overseas?
Not bashing them as I still swear by Mike's product, but surely they would sell plenty more V1's if they shipped them abroad too.
They dont want to deal with customs and the international stuff
I have said this before too, psychologists did a study about ebay and said people frequently get in a competative mode when they bid. I have emailed numerous people making fun of them and asked them why would you pay more than you can buy one new for? ops: ops:
Only had one email me back with a smart ass response of you think I can get one cheaper buddy? I was like ya stupid. Told him where. No response.
