turned "k" band off.
after living in Dover or 3 years I've finally decided to turn k band off. during the 3 years I've never ran into any officer use k band in town so I have finally had enough.
during a 3 mile drive it will peg out at 7 bogeys or more and never shut up.
for the past week its been a pleasant driving experience around town. if I have to head out of town it takes all of about a second to turn it back on.
so far so good.
Its a bold move cotton, I hope it pays off.
Automute is what keeps mine shut up. But if you can't stand that either than off is the next best I suppose. Hope you do'nt get a ticket from a stupid K band gun.

Wow the staton, I got hit w/ k band in Delaware downstate between Rehobath Beach and Dover at least 3 times last time I was in Delaware.
I am about to do the same thing. All the cities I drive in use Ka. Only 2 cities and county have k band.

where i live(chicagoland), the deadliest encounters are instant-on K band, i forgot how many times i almost got owned if i've had been speeding, and gotta deal with all the falses

They don't use k band anywhere in the cities that I drive in. I never, never get a k band. Now when I come into my city I would turn it on. I may even just set it for 30 second delay.

I only have k band turned off when I'm in the city of Dover. If I venture out of those boundaries I always turn it off.
