Is a V1 worthless without a Radar Jammer ?

With the holidays creeping up, driving along roads that I don't know where the * trap spots* are a common thing and I usually just drive +5 over the posted speed limit, but it's so hard in my car to not go over cause it's just so smooth ;-)

I'll be driving along the LIE, GSP, Southern State, eastern LI which are areas which I don't drive often. Hell, I'm going to assume that a majority of the LEOS are running radar, as the majority of the few spots on the Belt Parkway seem to be all running Radar these days.

LIE during non rush hours......the local LIE'ers seem to be comfortable going 20+ AVERAGE. Dunno, but I ain't risking it.

So whaddya guys recommend. Is it worth getting the V1 or not, due to the LASER issue.

yes get a v1....
if u aren't going to get a laser jammer, veil, or a lasershield;then a v1 is ur best hope for protection from laser

as for radar u should be fine really..just make sure u aren't driving fast by urself..u always want to have people around u or someone who will drive fast in front of u and then u can follow them and if they get hit with radar, u will catch the signal before an LEO can target u, and therfore can slow down...

Worthless as opposed to not having anything? Get the V1. It has superior laser detection. Just try to be sure you arent the target.

radar jamming is illegal and a felony offence.

If you want to jam laser get a Blinder, Escort zr3, Anti-Laser or LPP.

The V1 is the best detector in my most honest opinion. LIE hardly has any speed traps on it. I drive it frequently....northern state in LI is littered with instant-on

Oops. The title should have read Laser Jamming.

But the content should have cleared that up .


Dunno about the LIE but the last time I saw a LEO pulling peeps over and over, he was cruising on the right lane. The minute ANYONE on the right went past 10 mph, he pulled them over even if everyone else was following the flow of traffic.

I was in the middle and just kept the PSL. 3 LEOS on that same day were doing the same day,
